Being a Self Leader is knowing and owning your ability to choose your attitudes, behaviours and actions. It’s relevant to everyone of all ages in all walks of life.
The Vice Principal at Capital School Academy in Kilburn, Madeleine Fresko-Brown, wanted her support staff to start the new school year with practical ideas to help them be Self Leaders.

Our team, including Steve Elstein and Holly Banham, spent time with the school support staff as part of our pro-bono efforts, equipping them to to adopt a growth mindset and feel more in control of their roles and choices.

We explored the difference between ‘showing up vs turning up’ and how they can make purposeful choices every day to make them good about their goals in the school year ahead.

In the gym, no frills, just digging in to personal ownership with ideas, discussion, resistance bands, balls and a ton of our energy.

We believe everyone can be a Self Leader and we cheer on those who try!
