What happens within your team when you are under pressure?
How does the way you interact with each other change and what can you choose to do about it?

I had the privilege of spending today in Cardiff with Lydia Stirling and her People Team running a Lumina Team Lab. We built awareness of how they each think/react and how this evolves from outside of work to being at work to operating under pressure – considering both individual relationships and the collective team.

Some really insightful moments, some Courageous Co. style exploration of relationships using resistance bands, seeing how peoples’ personas shift physically on our massive Lumina Learning floor mat, and some commitments about how to drive improvements moving forwards.

Reflecting during my train journey home, I’m grateful that I get to work with such a diverse set of clients on how their teams can achieve peak performance… and that we have access to tools and techniques that can make people think differently.

Thanks Nicole Sorrell and the Lumina team for all the partnership on our journey so far – excited to see how this will continue to grow – definitely more fulfilling work than headcount reconciliation / functional budget negotiations!
